Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dentistry was actually Dr. Lee’s mother’s dream profession, but it was never fulfilled, as a woman holding a professional career in South Korea was scarce during those years. Dr. Lee ultimately was the daughter to carry out her mother’s dream, and today, she’s developed a strong, enduring passion for the field. Every day, she strives to be the best she can be and provide the highest quality care possible to patients from all walks of life.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After studying at Binghamton University as a biochemistry major, Dr. Lee completed her dental doctorate at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After graduating, she attended a GPR residency under an oral surgeon, where she received valuable experience in oral surgery and TMJ treatment. She has also completed additional training in orthodontics, dental implants, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, facial esthetics, and oral sedation.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Lee is proud to come from a family of highly educated professionals, including doctors, CPAs, lawyers, and even a judge! Altogether, they cover practically every specialty of medicine. She also has two grown children who are very talented computer software engineers. As for hobbies, she spends her free time playing the piano, listening to classic music and opera, skating, rollerblading, reading, and tackling various creative art projects.
